Standard Rules for all ECO1 Competitions, Games,
Promotions & Offers

• In circumstances beyond the reasonable control of ECO1, the Head of ECO1 reserves the right, with absolute discretion, to disqualify any entry, add to or amend any rules, or to cancel the whole or part of any competition, game or promotion at any stage without prior notification. The decision of the Head of ECO1 on all matters relating to competitions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Only organisations who are able to communicate in fluent British English will be allowed to enter any promotions and offers.
• Unless otherwise specified, all entries must be made using the entry form(s) on this page. 
• Prizes, Offers & Promotions are as stated. No alternative prizes — cash or otherwise — will be available.
• It is a condition of entry to any Promotion or Offer that publicity may be given to any competition winners and/or entrants and that their names and/or photographs may be published across any media by ECO1.
• For any prize draw competition the winning entry will be the first correct entry drawn at random after the published closing date of the competition. Subsequent entries will then be drawn at random until there are enough entry winners to account for each prize.
• ECO1 uses an independent judge if the selection of winning entries is open to subjective interpretation. The full name of the appointed judge is available on request.
• Where ECO1 offer prizes on behalf of another company, that company will be responsible for providing the prizes in full. ECO1 cannot be held responsible for any failure to provide prizes as specified and all enquiries in reference to such prizes will be referred to the associated companies.
• ECO1 accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused by any prizes won. Any enquiries should be directed to the manufacturer or retailer.
• In the event of a discrepancy between these rules and those published alongside a particular competition, promotion, offer or game, the  decision of the Head of ECO1 will be final.
• A list of winners/competition results will be provided on receipt of a written request and a stamped addressed envelope.
• Any closing date for entries and/or rules of play which is published as part of any competition, promotion or game forms part of the rules for entry of that competition, promotion or game.
• Proof of posting, faxing or emailing does not provide proof of receipt.
• No purchase/payment is required unless stated.
• Unless otherwise stated in competition-specific rules, competitions are open to entrants of all ages with the proviso entrants under the age of 16 have the permission of their parent or guardian.
  
• All entries received – including any photographs, if applicable – will be deemed to be the property of ECO1 and cannot, as such, be returned, unless a written request has been made by the entrant with a stamped, addressed envelope enclosed.
• Copies of competition entry forms are available (if applicable) from this website.
• If a competition appears (solely or in part) in another format other than on this website the ECO1 rules of entry outlined on this website are deemed to apply.
  
• In some instances, entry to a competition, promotion, offer or game may be made exclusively via the website(s) of ECO1.
• Competition entries will be assessed for market analysis by ECO1 and then destroyed. Competition entries will not be passed on to a third party, for any reason whatsoever unless otherwise indicated in the competition concerned at the time of publication.
• There are no restrictions on the number of entries for competitions unless otherwise stated at the time of publication of the competition.
• Winners of the competitions/prize draws will be notified of the results by telephone or in writing within two weeks after the closing date.
• Prize winners will receive their prizes within six weeks after the closing date of the competition/prize draw. If the distribution of prizes takes longer than six weeks due to circumstances beyond reasonable control of ECO1, prize winners will be informed by telephone or in writing.
• In some instances, winners may be asked to collect their prize from the offices of ECO1 or another convenient and nearby location.
